The OCP and OPP test functions of the programmable dc electronic load developed and designed by APM technology solve this problem well.

Under this menu, the user can set the start value, end value, steps, time of each step of current or power, and also set the upper and lower limit of trigger voltage and specification. In the OCP (OPP) test mode, the electronic load works according to the start value, the current (power) increases according to the step value every certain time, and at the same time, the load input voltage is detected to determine whether the OCP (OPP) occurs. If the load input voltage is higher than the trigger voltage, indicating that OCP (OPP) has not occurred, continue the current (power) step operation until the end of operation. If the load input voltage is lower than the trigger voltage, the OCP (OPP) has occurred. Then check whether the current value is within the high and low specifications of the set current (power). If it is within the range, go (test passed) will be displayed, otherwise NG(test failed) will be displayed.
