Brief introduction to IEC61000-4-11 standard of AC source

Voltage sags, short interruption and voltage change standard in IEC61000-4-11 have compulsory become the standard of CE to EMC. Voltage sags, short and short interruption are caused by malfunction of power grid and substation facilities, or great change suddenly occurs in load. In some cases, voltage sags and short interruption may occur twice or more. Change of voltage is caused by the constant change of load in power grid. APM AC source has built-in IEC test standard waveform for customer to select and output directly. Customer could change the test level according to actual situation.

1. Select Voltage Dips to Class 2, Count to three times, Frequency to 50Hz. % is the voltage reference percentage after voltage sags. Cycle is the duration of voltage sags. Start Degree is the start angle. Repeat is the repeat times of voltage sags. Interval is the time interval.

1.2 Press Diagram could preview waveform. Press save could save waveform and back to previous page and press Trigger.

2. Select Voltage Variations in IEC4-11 interface and enter to voltage change

Standard test as below:

2.1 Operation is test Standard. Count is loop test. Frequency is 50 Hz. TD is setting the time of voltage from Unom down to Rate. ts is the duration of Rate. Ti set the time from Rate to Unom. After Interval complete executing Voltage Variations, then executing duration of Unom, percentage of voltage drop under Rate Voltage Variations.


2.2 Press Diagram could preview waveform. Press save could save waveform and back to previous page and press Trigger.
